Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Xue Fei Art (xuefeiart.com), operated by Elaine Li.

By using this site or placing an order, you agree to the following terms.


1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of xuefeiart.com and any purchase you make from Xue Fei Art, including original paintings, giclee prints, personalised paintings, commissions, the Little XF Letters subscription, and other products. Our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy also form part of these terms.


2. Orders & Payment
By placing an order, you're making an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline (for example, if an item is unexpectedly unavailable). Payment is required in full at the time of order, except where a deposit arrangement has been agreed for a commission (see below). All prices are listed in AUD unless stated otherwise.


3. Original Paintings & Prints
Original paintings are one-of-a-kind, handmade pieces. Minor variations in colour, texture, or finish compared to photos on the website are normal and not considered faults, due to the handmade nature of the work and differences in screen display. Giclee prints are reproductions and may also show slight colour variation from the original painting.


4. Personalised Paintings & Commissions

  • A commission begins once payment (or an agreed deposit) is received and the brief/reference material is provided.

  • I'll do my best to reflect your brief, reference photos, and preferences, but original artwork inherently involves artistic interpretation — the finished piece may not be a literal, exact replica of any reference image provided.

  • Reasonable revisions can be discussed before a piece is finalised; please raise any changes as early in the process as possible, as revisions become more limited once painting is underway.

  • Once work has begun, commissions cannot be cancelled for a refund except where there's a genuine fault or significant failure to deliver on my part (see our Refund Policy).

  • Timeframes provided are estimates. I'll communicate promptly if a delay is expected.

5. Little XF Letters Subscription

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month and are billed to your payment method on file until cancelled.

  • You can cancel anytime with no additional charges — cancelling stops future billing but does not refund the current month's mail once dispatched.

  • Subscribe by the 10th of the month to receive that month's mail; subscriptions after the 10th begin with the following month.

6. Intellectual Property
All artwork, images, designs, and content on this site are the copyright of Elaine Li / Xue Fei Art, unless otherwise stated. Purchasing a piece (including commissions and personalised paintings) gives you ownership of the physical artwork, but does not transfer copyright or grant you the right to reproduce, print, or commercially use the image without written permission.


7. Shipping & Delivery
See our Shipping Policy (where available) or product pages for estimated delivery times. Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed, particularly for international orders subject to customs processing.


8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Xue Fei Art is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or purchase of our products. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.


9. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
